In contrast, Aston Villa’s head coach Robert de Pauw expressed pride in his team's performance, despite the ongoing struggle for league wins. He noted, "I am a little bit sick of good performances without the three points. That frustrates me still. Villa's defender Anna Patten praised the team's effort, saying, "It is a game we can take a lot from and work from. We all worked really hard for each other." With this draw, Villa moved back up to 11th place in the league, while United sit in fifth, seven points behind leaders Manchester City.

Next, Aston Villa will host Crystal Palace in the Women’s Super League on November 17, with kick-off at 2pm, followed by a visit to Tottenham in the Women’s League Cup on November 23, kicking off at 12:15pm. The focus now for Villa will be on converting their solid performances into victories.
